Kaakchirurgie Zuidas outsources the dispatch and processing of invoices to Infomedics. This allows us to focus entirely on our patients and on providing high-quality oral and maxillofacial care.

Kaakchirurgie Zuidas does not have contracts with health insurers. You will therefore receive the invoice for insured care via Infomedics and will need to submit it to your health insurer yourself.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery is usually covered by basic health insurance, provided the treatment meets the conditions for insured care. The final reimbursement depends on your policy, your health insurer’s reimbursement policy and any excess you have yet to pay.

Excess

For adults, the statutory excess usually applies to care covered by basic health insurance. Did you opt for a voluntary higher excess when taking out your health insurance? If so, the amount you have to pay yourself may be higher.

Your health insurer may deduct the excess from the reimbursement of our invoice. The amount in question will then not be paid to you, but you will still need to pay it to Infomedics.

The excess is always at your own expense and is not covered by our leniency scheme.

Difference between deductible excess and non-reimbursed costs

The deductible excess is not the same as the part that your health insurer does not reimburse due to non-contracted care.

The deductible excess is an amount that, under your health insurance policy, you pay yourself for care covered by the basic health insurance package. This also applies when you are treated in a hospital or by another healthcare provider.

In addition, your health insurer may not reimburse part of our invoice because Kaakchirurgie Zuidas does not have contracts with health insurers. We refer to this as the non-reimbursed part of the invoice. For this part, you may, under the applicable conditions, submit a request under our goodwill arrangement.

When assessing a request, we assume that your health insurer reimburses at least 75% of the total invoice amount. If your health insurer reimburses less than 75%, the difference up to 75% will, in principle, remain payable by you.

The maximum goodwill contribution is 25% of the total invoice amount. Each request is assessed individually. Kaakchirurgie Zuidas reserves the right to grant the goodwill contribution in full or in part. No automatic rights can be derived from the goodwill arrangement.

Questions about your invoice

Do you have questions about the invoice, payment term, payment status or payment options? Please contact Infomedics directly on 036 – 203 19 00 or visit www.infomedics.nl.

Would you like to make use of our goodwill arrangement? Please always first send the full reimbursement statement from your health insurer to declaraties@kaakchirurgie-zuidas.nl. Include your full name, date of birth and invoice number.

Based on this statement, we will assess which amount you must pay to Infomedics and which part may be eligible for a goodwill contribution.

Do you have questions about our goodwill arrangement, the assessment of your reimbursement statement or the amount payable by you? Please contact Kaakchirurgie Zuidas via declaraties@kaakchirurgie-zuidas.nl or 020 – 308 60 55.
