Own Contribution for Insured Care
We have recently started and therefore have not yet established agreements with health insurers. Below is the billing process, or you can read all about the coulance arrangement in the Infomedics brochure.
Billing Process
- Infomedics cannot submit the invoice to your health insurer, or your health insurer may not cover everything. You will then receive the invoice for your treatment through Infomedics. You must submit it to your health insurer yourself, and do so promptly. You will receive a settlement from your health insurer showing the amount of your own contribution.
- We then ask you to do the following: You pay the invoice minus your own contribution to Infomedics and send us a scan or photo of the settlement from your health insurer, including your name and date of birth, via declaraties@kaakchirurgie-zuidas.nl.
- We will check if the own contribution is correct and whether the remaining invoice to Infomedics has been paid. If everything is correct, we will ask Infomedics to waive your own contribution.
Important:
- You must provide the feedback from your health insurer on the Infomedics invoice within three weeks of receipt, or this arrangement will no longer apply. Therefore, it is important that you submit the original invoice to your health insurer as soon as possible.
- It is important to adhere to the payment terms of Infomedics, otherwise, additional costs will be charged by Infomedics. These are also mentioned on your invoice.
- We will only reimburse your own contribution, not your deductible. You will be required to pay your deductible regardless, even at a hospital or clinic with which your insurer has a contract.
