Bio
Anna Koevoets studied Dentistry at the Academic Centre for Dentistry
Amsterdam (ACTA). She then completed the postgraduate programme in Orofacial Pain &
Dysfunction at ACTA, qualifying her as a dentist-gnathologist. In her work, she focuses
on the diagnosis and treatment of complaints in the head and neck area, including
orofacial pain, temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD), masticatory muscle and
jaw joint complaints, and headaches.
Careful diagnosis is central to her clinical work, with attention to
factors that influence the functioning of the masticatory system. She works with
tailor-made treatment plans, tailored to the individual complaint and resilience of the
patient.
In addition to her work as a dentist-gnathologist, Anna Koevoets has worked (and continues to work)
at several dental practices as a general practitioner. She brings this broad clinical experience
to her current work, in addition to her involvement in education and
research at the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA).
